Where Go The Boats?

Our first poem "Where Go The Boats" has been posted on our Poetry page.  Have a read, and let me know what you think of this poem.

  2. I really like your poem, but the main thing I like about it is you didnt always but somtimes rimed every second line to, make it flow good. It was a great poem.

  4. when i read this post my first thought was, wow that reminds me of my Ompa who was a fisherman on Grandmanan.

    Ps. Ompa means grandfather

The poetry is such a discriptive story. i think its goning to encoregd some boys and girls that have a river or a lake in there back yard. they might get a small boat and do the same thing. thats what i would do, because he wants other children to find that boat play with it and set it back down the river or lake

  6. When I read this post. My thought was that a little boy was lost. And was finding his way back home. It was and nice relaxing poem that I injoyed very much. I think the poem was written in the 1900's or more. Because it said mill and mills were found in the 1900's or further on in history. The poem was awesome.

  7. When I hear the peom it makes me think of a book called the chocolate river rescue. My favorite part of it is when he used good describing words. It really set a good piucture in my head.
