Baby Fairy Wrens Have to Sing for Their Supper?

            If you haven’t already heard or read, the Baby Fairy Wren article, then I’m here to give you a little intro.   In order for a Baby Fairy Wren to get its supper it has to sing.  The Baby Wren will sing a perfect note, that they learn in their egg, this note is called the begging call. But if the Baby Wren does not sing the right note, it may either not get fed, or not get fed as often. This call is perfected to make sure if another egg gets into the nest, it will not be fed.

Did you see the article about lonesome George?  George died last summer ( June 2012) at that time scientists thought that Lonesome George was the last of his kind, and since he died the species Chelonoidis abingdoni, had gone extincted. But they had been mistaken, on Isabelle island 60 km away from Georges home more of his species were found, as their DNA was studied.
